Commitment to Privacy

The Victoria Evening Newcomers Club (VENC) is committed to ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality and integrity of all personal information. *The responsible collection, use and disclosure of the personal information provided by our members is important to our association.

* "Personal information" is personally identifiable information such as your name, residential address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Inter-personal relationships

VENC is a volunteer club, built upon friendship and trust. There are no paid staff. Within the context of our activities, there will be zero tolerance for racism, bullying or any form of abuse. Disputes may be brought to the attention of the VENC Executive, who shall resolve the issue in accordance with Bylaw II-1.

Personal Information

VENC collects and uses your personal information solely for the purposes of providing you with the programs and services you have requested from the association.

VENC will only collect the personal information it needs when it needs it and will not sell, lease or trade your personal information to third parties and will not disclose your personal information without your knowledge and consent.

Your personal information is used solely to communicate with you with regard to your membership in the association and the services and programs provided.

We do not use cookies on our website and you can access our website and browse our site without disclosing any personal data.

Waiver of Liability

All activities of the Club are arranged and carried out by its members, without remuneration, solely for the benefit of the members. It is, therefore, a condition of membership that neither the Club nor any member shall be liable to any other member (including their partner, spouse, children, friends, family members, and/or family pets) for any damages or injury, however caused, suffered in consequence of taking part in any activity or function arranged or conducted by the Club. By submitting a membership application, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Disclosure

In order that you may benefit to the fullest extent from your membership in VENC, your personal information may be shared with other members of the association.
